The Big Bear Adult Hockey League, hosted at Big Bear Ice Arena, is Denver’s top destination for adult hockey. We are built on the core values of sportsmanship, competition, and camaraderie, offering a great hockey experience for players of all skill levels.

Our league follows USA Hockey rules along with our own House Rules to promote a safe, respectful environment for players, officials, staff, and spectators. We take a firm stance against violence, hate, and racism, creating a community where fair play, respect, and a true love for the game thrive — both on and off the ice.

Spring-26 League Start Dates:

• C4 Thursday League: Starts February 5, 2026
• D2 Monday League: Starts February 16, 2026
• D4 Tuesday/Wednesday League: Starts February 17, 2026
• D3 Sunday League: Starts March 8, 2026

Each league will feature 10 round-robin games, followed by exciting double-elimination playoffs.

Registration Information:
To register for the BBAHL, select your league and team online. If you wish to play with friends, all players must register for the same team. Teams are capped at 15 skaters and 1 goalie.
If you would like to add additional players beyond the limit, please email info@bigbearice.com with your request.

Big Bear Ice Arena operates under a strict No Refund Policy for all league registrations.

By submitting payment, each player acknowledges and agrees to this policy in full. League operations, scheduling, and expenses are determined based on the number of registered players and teams; therefore, all registration fees are non-refundable once payment has been processed.

If a player voluntarily withdraws, becomes unable to participate, or is removed from the league for any reason—including but not limited to disciplinary issues, poor conduct on or off the ice, or violation of league rules—no refund, credit, or transfer will be issued.

In the unlikely event that a player cannot be placed on a team, or if the entire season is canceled prior to the start of play, a full refund will be issued. If a partial season cancellation occurs due to circumstances beyond the control of Big Bear Ice Arena (including but not limited to facility issues, weather, health mandates, or other force majeure events), refunds will be prorated solely at the discretion of management based on the number of games played.

By completing registration, the participant and/or payer expressly waives any right to dispute charges or pursue legal action related to refund claims, and agrees that all decisions regarding refunds or credits are final and binding as determined by Big Bear Ice Arena management.

• D4 Tuesday/Thursday League: Starts September 9, 2025
• D1 Saturday League: Starts October 11, 2025
• D3 Sunday League: Starts September 14, 2025

Big Bear Ice Arena follows a STRICT NO REFUND POLICY.

We understand that things may come up and your plans may change, however, we must build our leagues based on the number of teams and players registered.  Once a player makes their registration payment, a spot is reserved for that player.  If, for any reason, a player is unable to participate in the league, no refund will be given.

If a player is removed from the league due to poor on or off ice conduct, NO REFUND WILL BE ISSUED.

If you cannot be placed on a team, or if the full league season is canceled, the full registration fee will be refunded.  In the event of partial season cancelation, a prorated registration fee will be refunded.
