Join our dynamic team and work in a fast-paced, exciting ice sports environment. We are currently hiring for the following positions:

 

1. Scorekeeper for Adult Hockey Leagues

Responsibilities:

  • Operate the scoreboard and manage timing during games and events.
  • Accurately record game statistics and communicate with on-ice officials.
  • Ensure scorekeeping equipment is functioning properly before each game.

Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of hockey rules and gameplay.
  • Excellent focus and attention to detail during high-paced games.
  • Effective communication skills for coordination with officials and teams.
  • Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.
 

2. Locker Room Attendant (Part-Time and Full-Time)

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of locker rooms, including vacuuming, sweeping, and trash removal.
  • Launder towels and other team-related items as required.
  • Prepare locker rooms for teams and events, ensuring all areas meet facility standards.
  • Monitor locker room usage and report maintenance needs promptly.

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
  • Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.
 

3. Facility Caretaker

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general cleaning duties, including vacuuming, sweeping, and trash removal throughout the facility.
  • Assist with minor maintenance tasks and event setup as needed.
  • Maintain restrooms, office spaces, and public areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications:

  • Dependable and self-motivated with a commitment to maintaining a clean facility.
  • Basic understanding of general maintenance practices.
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.
 

4. Skate Guard

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and enforce rules during public skating sessions to ensure safety.
  • Assist skaters, including those who have fallen or require help on the ice.
  • Oversee skate rentals, ensuring skates are cleaned, maintained, and stored properly.
  • Conduct light cleaning in the skate rental area and around the rink after sessions.

Qualifications:

  • Strong skating skills and the ability to assist others on the ice.
  • Friendly and professional demeaner with excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in cold environments for extended periods.
  • Availability on weekends and during school holidays.
  • Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.
 

5. Zamboni Driver

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain the Zamboni to ensure a smooth and safe ice surface.
  • Perform routine maintenance, including blade changes, fuel management, and tank emptying.
  • Use edging equipment and perform ice repairs as necessary.
  • Dispense and track locker room keys for teams, and clean locker rooms post-use.
  • Maintain cleanliness of spectator areas, player benches, and rink glass.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience operating a Zamboni or similar equipment is highly preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude with a commitment to safety protocols.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to multitask.
  • Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.
