Big Bear Ice Arena

Big Bear Adult Learn to Play Hockey program is for those who have never played hockey before or for those who have very little experience.

•This program is the first step to entering our BBAHL.

•At least 30 minutes of each hour will focus on the most important part of hockey, skating.

•Each week participants will progress on the basics of the forward and backward skating stride, stopping, puck control, passing and shooting.

•Each practice is designed for players to practice their skills at their own pace.

•Team play will also be introduced through small area games in a fun and encouraging environment.

•Equipment requirements: Hockey Helmet, Skates, hockey gloves, and hockey stick.

We would also recommend wearing: shin pads, elbow pads, and a hockey pants.

Please show up 30 minutes early for the start of each session.

Lunch Adult Learn to Play Hockey 2021 Classes schedule:

• Tuesday Class 1: 11/2/21-11/16/21 @ 11:15AM-12:45PM. (3 Tuesday Sessions)
• Thursday Class 1: 11/4/21-11/18/21 @ 11:15AM-12:45PM. (3 Thursday Sessions)
• Class fee: $59.00
